Spooktacular Gala Dinner 2018

The 2018 Gala Dinner was a major success thank you to all those who attended and donated, especially our generous partners.

On a cold and drizzly Canberran evening ghouls, goblins, ghosts, zombies and more arrived at The Abbey in Gold Creek for the GroupOne Spooktacular hosted by Dainere’s Rainbow Brain Tumour Research Fund.

The purpose of this Gala Dinner was to “Scare Brain Cancer Away” and raise funds to go to paediatric brain tumour research at the Sydney Children’s Hospital.
The Dainere’s Rainbow team are honoured, humbled and delighted to announce that a phenomenal total of $40,009.00 was raised from the gala dinner with 100% of that money going directly to research.

With heartfelt, sincere and eternal gratitude to absolutely everyone involved with the event. All our Major Partners: Group One, Rolfe Property Services, Qcity Transit, Simeco Pty LTD, Teresa Smith, GENLEC and Regional Wholesale Fruit Canberra.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land where we meet and work, the Ngunnawal people, and the many other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples from across Australia who have now made Canberra their home. We celebrate and respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of the ACT and region.

Dainere's Rainbow is a not for profit organisation - 100% of all funds raised or donated go to paediatric brain tumour research at Sydney Children's Hospital
