Christmas Light Display 2015

With our most heartfelt, deepest and humble appreciation to all those wonderful families that have come out to visit the Dainere’s Rainbow Brain Tumour Research Fund Splendiferous Christmas Light Displays in Gowrie or Gungahlin.

Just a friendly reminder that each night until 23rd December you can not only be enchanted and filled with joy by the lights you can also visit the stalls, there are some incredible items and remember that all funds raised go to desperately needed research for paediatric brain tumours, the number one disease killer of our children in Australia.

We believe that at the Gowrie location you can purchase the most scrumptious rocky road in the Canberra Region and if you are lucky have a tour of the wonderful Kay and Roger’s magical Christmas Wonderland . If you attended the Gungahlin display you may have met the beautiful Belle and Snow White or taken some of the most magical Christmas Photographs with the lights and Santa.

As we share our beloved Dainere’s words from her final Christmas on this Earth. We again wish to thank everyone who has supported Dainere’s Rainbow through the lights display.

“The thing I am most blessed and grateful for is to have continued with what is so dear to my heart and my greatest dream and that is to make a contribution to one day finding a miracle, the cure for paediatric brain tumours. I so passionately and wholeheartedly believe that no children in the future should have to suffer as myself and many others have with this absolutely atrocious and hideous disease.

Next year I will continue with my effort to raise crucial awareness and funds, every dollar really does count and I know that it is so greatly appreciated by the dedicated team doing the research. Helping others gives you a sense of worth, hope, courage, love and lights your heart.”

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land where we meet and work, the Ngunnawal people, and the many other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples from across Australia who have now made Canberra their home. We celebrate and respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of the ACT and region.

Dainere's Rainbow is a not for profit organisation - 100% of all funds raised or donated go to paediatric brain tumour research at Sydney Children's Hospital
