City2Surf 2015

In 2013 Jarrett ran his toughest and most significant race of his life. Not only had he recently lost his beloved little sister, Dainere, he was running in the event that they had worked on together as a special way to raise significant awareness and funds for paediatric brain tumour research and he also suffered a knee injury whilst training hard just a couple of weeks prior to the event.

In 2014, he again ran the same race alongside his special older sister Nalani, running squad great mate Mathew and new runner the wonderful Bridget as part of Team Dainere’s Rainbow.

Now again in 2015 when he could have run the race in the elite preferred start and have the advantage of an amazing start and running with the best and fastest, he has chosen to selflessly run the race as a Gold Charity Runner for Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation and Dainere’s Rainbow Brain Tumour Research Fund as he believes and is passionate about continuing Dainere’s legacy of significantly elevating awareness and funding for paediatric brain tumours.

The race is the world’s largest fun run – The City2Surf and it is only three weeks away today.

Jarrett wishes to express is most sincere, humble and grateful thanks to everyone who has donated.
